The "18×9.5 ET35" spec you'll see online is a non-M number.
Searches for E9X fitment often surface an 18×9.5 ET35 rear figure. That is the requirement for LCI non-M 3-Series sedans and wagons (2009+), which have a rear track roughly 8mm wider than the M3 and a different fender. It is not the M3 spec. Aftermarket coilovers can require a front spacer.
